Tintype. Unknown date, location, and people. This tintype, I am told, belonged to George or Annie Esch and then came into the possession of Levi and Martha. The original tintype image is quite faded and scratched, but the scan and photo imaging software make it more viewable. If you place your cursor over the photo, a menu will appear that allows you to see larger versions of the image. The "original" size is very large and gives you the best view of the faces, but the file takes a little time to load. Some of the faces could be Esches? I wish I knew. I believe that the Milwaukee Binders and Harvesters sign refers to a company that manufactured these farm implements. That company was bought in 1902, along with Deering and McCormick, to form part of International Harvester. Any ideas on who these people might be, or where this is?
